Designed for going after the ocean's heavyweights, these new models are for those times when extra power and line capacity are needed.
These "New" models attach to a standard Daiwa Sealine 6/0 in only minutes and their quick take-apart features make them easy to service and maintain.
Not for the faint of heart, these models feature a powerful permanent magnet motor with the ability to land large fish with a minimum of effort.
Engineering features include additional gaskets between main frame and end frames to seal the motor from the harsh environment in which it is designed to operate.
The motor features a stainless steel shaft with "quick change" designed drive gear for ease of service and durable case hardened gears for longer life.
These "New" models also feature a newly designed durable space age composite housing that is 80% lighter and 4 times more impact resistant than aluminum.
In addition, this advanced material won't rust, chip, or corrode, so that it can stand up to the harshest saltwater conditions.
Unlike most plastic materials, these new housings are also impervious to the affects of gas, oil, and chemicals.
The housings are also available in standard Elec-Tra-Mate Red or Pro Black.
